VMworld 2016

It’s the time of year again for VMworld and now comes the unpleasantness of choosing sessions and fighting them out against each other for time slots, last year my session list was basically completely dominated by NSX sessions. Taken a bit more of a broad view, instead with some cool stuff around service provider networking/administration, offering services to customers as well as a few bits and pieces around VSAN, NSX and Cloud Native computing.

Virtual SAN for Service Providers [STO10804-QT]

Tuesday

Veeam Availability Suite 9.5 Deep Dive [SDDC9461-SPO]

Wednesday

Understanding the Availability Features of Virtual SAN [STO8179]

Virtual SAN: Introducing the Best HCI Platform for Containers and Cloud-Native Applications [STO8256]

vSphere 6.x Host Resource Deep Dive [INF8430]

A day in the life of a VSAN I/O [STO7875]

Multi-Site Networking and Security with Cross-VC NSX [NET7862R]

Thursday

I’m looking forward to seeing sessions by some of the big hitters and guys I’ve met as part of the vExpert program like: John Nicholson, Duncan Epping, Frank Denneman, Niels Hagoort, Rawlinson Rivera, Luc Dekens, Alan Renouf as well as fellow countrymen Paudie O’Riordan and Cormac Hogan.

Be sure to check out some of the other guys VMworld Session lists here!
